Bare-bones DTC editing for users who need a simple and affordable solution.
DTC Toolbox Lite is designed for users who only need to load supported BIN files, edit DTC data, and save modified BIN files. It is the most affordable entry point into DTC Toolbox while keeping advanced workflow tools reserved for higher editions.
Lite is lifetime activated for one licensed PC and does not require recurring yearly renewal.

Standard uses secure cloud activation and database unlock approval. Once activated, the app can continue working offline within the allowed refresh period.

Checksum support applies only to supported file structures, software variants, and calibration layouts. Not every file from a listed ECU family is guaranteed to be checksum-supported. Additional checksum coverage may be added in future updates.

DTC Toolbox currently supports defined ECU software variants across Stellantis, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Volkswagen Group, and BMW Group.
Definition support can vary by file size, software structure, read tool output, calibration layout, and software version. New variants are added as they are developed and validated.

Software Version Support
Each ECU family may include multiple supported software versions and layouts. Support can vary depending on manufacturer updates, read tool output, file size, file structure, software version, and calibration layout.
If you encounter an unsupported software version, contact us with the BIN file or software details. We will review it and work to include support in a future update when possible.
Secure Definition Database
DTC Toolbox uses signed and encrypted definition database packs. The app verifies the database before loading definitions, helping protect against modified or incorrect database files.
Lite, Standard, and Pro use the same core DTC editing coverage, while higher editions unlock additional workflow features, exports, OBD scanner w/ J2534 support, and checksum functionality.
License Information
DTC Toolbox Lite includes lifetime activation for the Lite edition on one licensed PC.
DTC Toolbox Standard licenses are valid for 1 year from the creation date.
DTC Toolbox Pro licenses are valid for 1 year from the creation date.
Standard and Pro use secure cloud activation and database unlock approval. A refresh countdown is displayed in the app so users can see how much offline time or offline starts remain before an online refresh is needed.
Requires 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11.
Your licensed name will display in the app header. Please specify the name you would like shown on your license when you send us your HWID. If no name is provided, the customer’s first name will be used.
Upgrade Path
Start with Lite for basic DTC editing, move to Standard when you need presets and export tools, or upgrade to Pro when your workflow requires integrated checksum correction.
